Complete sustainability training

Network Rail employees have access to a range of sustainability training, including eLearnings and classroom courses.

We recently launched a new awareness level eLearning aligned to our new Greener Railway Strategy, called A Greener Railway – An Introduction to Environment & Sustainability at Network Rail’. This helps colleagues understand what we mean by ‘Greener’ and our priorities as an organisation, and asks how each of us can help in our roles.

We have developed a series of free learning pathways aligned to our Greener Railway Strategy. This is in collaboration with the SCSS, RSSB, major contractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

Each learning pathway is aligned to each of the eight key priority areas of our Greener Railway Strategy.
