Region, Route & Location: North West and Central | Central Route | Henley-in-Arden Station

A former station building at Henley-in-Arden has been transformed into a multi-functional community space through the support of Network Rail, amongst others including Henley-in-Arden Parish Council and the Railway Heritage Trust.

This station building had remained unused since the 1990s and with growing concerns for the deterioration, local efforts transformed this space into a centre for the community that can be hired for small functions, along with events being organised for the public that include invited guest speakers, guiz nights, and games evening. 

Not only has this space been transformed to host these kinds of events, but a locally run micro-brewery has been established on-site to help support the economy in the area by drawing in additional funds to this community space.
